    Elves for Elders
                        
Elves for Elders is an annual gift giving project that enables us to give back to those that have given to us for so many years.  Each year senior adults are chosen and their Christmas wish lists are filled and delivered.  These individuals are low income and have no immediate family.  The look on their faces and appreciation in their hearts is priceless. 
 
The first year Elves for Eders was started we turned to the communities where SENIORity Magazine is published and were able to provide more than 200 gifts ranging from chocolates to winter coats.  For it being a wish list project, we think you would be surprised at some of the requests and how simple they were. Many folks asked for items like socks or gloves to wear during the winter months.  The experience is proof positive of the greatful and committed nature of our senior adults.
 

 Easter for Elders

Easter for Elders began as a last minute idea and has been an extremely rewarding opportunity.  Each year we choose a nursing home and surprise all of its residents with a visit from the Easter Bunny and gift baskets for everyone!

 

The first year we were able to visit more than 100 individuals and provide baskets with much needed items such as lip gloss, hand lotions and of course easter goodies! 

 

Many of these folks don't have visitors and daily routines can become tedious.  Easter for Elders is one way we can give back for the many gifts we've received from our elders!
